Patrick Reed
After 42 years at Northern Virginia Community College, I now teach U. S. History and Humanities as an adjunct at Wake Tech Community College. I edit and incorporate short video clips, chiefly from popular media, into PowerPoint presentations to tap into students' background knowledge, provide occasional comic relief, and help them become more discriminating consumers of both historical and popular media.
